T AUSTRIA (AISO/084): New signature applied on issued TIR Carnets

F This is to inform you that, as of 22 December 2006, all TIR

O Carnets issued by AISO bear, under item 4 on the front cover

page, the signature of Mr. Karl Molzer, Acting President

of the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Internationaler

Strassenverkehrsunternehmer Osterreichs - AISO" (AISO/084).

Please take careful note of the old and new specimen

signatures shown in Annex 1.

TIR Carnets issued by AISO before 22 December 2006 that bear

the signature of Mr. Adolf Moser are valid if presented by the

TIR Carnet Holder at the Customs office of departure on or

before the expiry date indicated under item 1 on the front

cover page of the TIR Carnet. Such TIR carnets "remain valid

until the termination of the TIR operation at the Customs

office of destination" (Article 9 of the TIR Convention, 1975).
